Community Priority Grants
The United Way seeks to fund projects that use innovative, collaborative approaches to address needs in Johnson County . Proposals must be for programs that serve Johnson County residents and address an identified community need.
Strong consideration will be given to those projects which serve a health or human services purpose, begin with a creative and innovative idea, generate strong community interest and volunteer involvement, positively impact the community or address one or more the community goals identified in the 2020 Vision Goals for the Common Good.
United Way of Johnson County partner agencies and other non-profit organizations are invited to apply.
Requirements for Grant Application
- Proposals, including attachments, must be submitted electronically at https://www.ctkodm.com/uwjc/
- If you are not a current partner with United Way of Johnson County, please contact Patti Fields at 319-338-7823 to receive website access to apply.
- You must submit an application for each program or project for which funding is requested.
- Letters of commitment from collaborative partners are required (do not submit general letters of support). Emailed letters of commitment must be received by pfields@unitedwayjc.org directly from the collaborative partner.
- Upon submission, the application will be reviewed for completion and the applicant will receive confirmation of receipt.
Proposals must be received by 4:30p.m on Friday, August 26, 2011. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered for funding.
