United Way of Johnson County maintains the highest level of accountability to ensure that your donations are handled in accordance with all regulatory requirements. Every 3-5 years, the Internal Operations Committee of the Board of Directors issues a request for proposal for our annual audit. McGladrey, a certified public accounting firm, has performed the United Way of Johnson County's annual certified audit of our financial records for the past three years. McGladrey also prepares United Way of Johnson County’s IRS Form 990, the annual tax return for non-profit organizations.
