2010 Campaign Leadership

Cyndie's first volunteer opportunity with United Way of Johnson County began when she served as a member of the United Way Allocations Committee in the 1990s. Then she became a member of the United Way of Johnson County’s Board of Directors from 2002 - 2008 and served on the campaign cabinet in 2005. From 2006-08, Cyndie also served as President of the United Way Board of Directors.

Russ served on the United Way Board as Campaign Chair in 1992 and as Chairman of the United Way Board of Directors in 1993 and 1994. He has also volunteered for numerous United Way annual campaign committees over the years.

Cyndie and Russ are really excited to serve as co-chairs of this year's campaign and look forward to working with the many generous members of our community who donate their time and gifts to this outstanding organization. 
                                           

I know that I’ve been dealt a lucky set of cards  - good health and a good job, a loving family, and the support of many caring friends and neighbors.  I also live in a great community - a place where neighbors care for each other.  With good fortune comes the opportunity to share what you have – time and money – with others.

I’m honored to serve as the 2010 Campaign Co-chair for the United Way of Johnson County. It’s going to be a great campaign and I look forward to working with such a dedicated and committed group of volunteers and donors to help advance the common good in Johnson County.
